Carlsbad, CA, October 7th, 2014 – JumpGen Systems has been acquired by PARPRO. PARPRO is the US subsidiary of Pilot Electronics, a publicly traded company in Taiwan. The acquisition of JumpGen Systems provides the engineering expertise to complement Pilot’s EMS capabilities. Pilot and PARPRO provide electronics manufacturing services in Asia, Mexico and Nevada and are certified for ISO-9001, ISO-13485, ISO-14000, AS-9100C, and Nadcap. PARPRO’s acquisition of JumpGen Systems creates a combined company – called PARPRO Embedded Systems – that will be able to offer a comprehensive engineering-rich hardware solution with low- to high-volume manufacturing and integration capabilities.
PARPRO currently has over 300 employees based in North America. With its access to the Asian supply chain and US-based engineering, PARPRO Embedded Systems’ strategic vision is to create best-in-class ODM solutions that provide customers with value differentiated systems in the aerospace, gaming, and communication industries within a vertically integrated organization. JumpGen’s current Carlsbad, CA location will serve as the PARPRO North America Headquarters office. The acquisition will expand JumpGen Systems’ engineering staff and will add manufacturing and supply chain capabilities to its existing solutions – allowing to better serve customers.
