PARPRO, a full-service contract manufacturing company, is proud to announce the acquisition of a state-of-the-art Reflow Oven, the Heller 1913MK5 Ultra Low Nitrogen & Power Consumption Reflow Oven with Semi-Circular Balanced Flow Heater Modules. This is on the cusp of 2 new Pemtron Saturn 3D SPI Machines and highlights PARPRO’s commitment to constant improvement and investment in advanced equipment to better serve our customers’ ongoing technology needs.
The Reflow Oven Model 1913MK5 brings significant advantages to our printed circuit board assembly processes. The main benefits of utilizing this advanced reflow oven include:
- Ultra-Low Nitrogen: PARPRO understands the importance of a controlled environment during soldering processes. The Ultra-Low Nitrogen feature of the reflow oven is preferred as it prevents/slows down oxidation of the assembly during the heating process, improves wettability which significantly improves solder joint quality, and reduces defect rates, delivering unparalleled reliability. In addition, PARPRO also acquired a Nitrogen Generator to support the N2 gas needed for the oven. This is an effective and more convenient solution than dependence on nitrogen delivery suppliers.
- 100% Forced Convection: With 100% forced convection, heat distribution is optimized, ensuring consistent and uniform heating across all heat zones. This leads to better solder joint quality and increased reliability.
- Multiple Heat and Cooling Zones: The oven is equipped with 13 heat zones on both the top and bottom sides, allowing for precise temperature profiles and minimizing thermal stress on the components. Additionally, the 2 cooling zones on both sides ensure proper cooling to prevent overheating of the components.
- CPK & SPC Data Logging: The oven is equipped with CPK and SPC data logging capabilities, enabling us to monitor and analyze process parameters in real-time. This data-driven approach helps us ensure that our assembly processes are always within the required specifications, further improving the quality of our products.
- Temperature Control Stability: The PID-controlled stability of the reflow oven guarantees temperature control to within +/- 1C. This precise control of the soldering process ensures consistent and reliable results, even for the most demanding applications.
